Dave Lowry is among the most experienced construction leaders in Washington. Dave was one of the original three founders of SDL Corporation in 1976 located in Bellevue, WA. They grew to be one of the largest construction firms in our area selling to McCarthy Construction out of Missouri in 1994. Dave began Express Construction as soon as the buyout was complete. Dave oversees all operations of Express providing valuable direction and advice on all aspects of the business. His guidance focuses on ensuring his people provide exemplary customer service.
Chuck is highly successful helping clients. Starting with helping them make their deal with preconstruction services through project close out and move in. He has over 35 years in the industry as a leader. Chuck brings a steady presence and listens to clients’ needs. His focus is to ensure clients have the right information to make the best decisions, ensure their goals are met, and provide the best possible customer service. Chuck is a strong mentor and highly skilled contractor. Having run Both Shell and Core and Tenant Improvement projects, Chuck has many years’ leading and executing successful projects. He mirrors our client’s desires in creating places that matter to the community. Markets include: office, commercial, manufacturing, retail, banks, tech facilities, healthcare and hospitality.
Glenn comes to Express Construction with over 37 years of cost estimating experience on a variety of residential, commercial office, medical, theatrical, academic and other mixed-use projects. Glenn offers an in-depth understanding of the construction process as well as the factors that can influence project costs. Glenn supports project teams during preconstruction with accurate, continuous costs estimates. He strives to provide cost-effective value engineering solutions and systems options that do not compromise quality or functional objectives. Glenn has worked on some well-known projects including the King Street Station Renovation and the Tacoma Art Museum Addition.
Jason oversees our administration, internet technology, and all aspects of finance for Express Construction Co., Inc. He is thorough and exacting which helps the firm run smoothly. This allows our construction professionals to do their job with predictability and report accurate budgets to our clients at any point in the project. Jason has broad experience in finance in various industries.
As VP of Operations, Jason Nix ensures that all staff and project teams are functioning at full optimization and providing superior quality performance. Jason also continues to manage the Seattle office for our Special Projects tenant improvement work. As a previous business owner and Sr. Project Manager, he understands the challenges our clients face in taking on construction projects. With his experience in the field Jason has the expertise that will ensure our clients’ projects run smoothly.
